Young woman stabbed in the neck by her ex-boyfriend dies hours later in the HGR.
The 20-year-old girl, stabbed in the neck at around 11am on Friday (17th), by her ex-boyfriend who had not been named by the police, could not survive the severity of the injury and died at the General Hospital of Roraima (HGR), Brazil . At 7:30 pm, an aunt of hers visited the Civil Police Service and requested the cadaveric requisition and removal of the victim’s body from the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML), for the cadaveric examination that will determine the cause of death.
Juliana da Silva Rodrigues, would be 21 on the 31st of July, 2020. Another aunt of the young woman who spoke with Roraima in Tempo, at the police station, revealed that her niece was four months pregnant. She also said that the victim went to see her ex-boyfriend to receive money (R $ 200.00) that she had lent him. The aunt said the young woman was accompanied by a friendly hairdresser which did not intimidate the suspect.

The crime took place on a public road in the Santa Teresa neighborhood, in the West zone of Boa Vista, Brazil and according to the hairdresser’s report, that of a team of riot police, from the Military Police, who answered the incident, the killer called the former girlfriend to talk behind a wall and in this place he would have tried to kiss her, which was rejected by the young woman, and for that reason he would have stabbed Juliana Rodrigues in the neck.
The victim screamed and the hairdresser said she went to help her, but the criminal also tried to stab her, which did not happen, because someone else stopped him and took the knife used to stab the young woman. With that, the killer ran away after jumping over the house wall. The young woman was rescued by a medic team and removed to the Emergency Room Francisco Elesbão in serious condition. The victim underwent surgical intervention, but hours later she died (later in the day).
