Coronavirus Holland: 3000 Confirmed Cases, 106 Dead

Western Europe has not been spared of the coronavirus, and the Netherlands (Holland) has had it share. Holland’s Health Ministry has confirmed with this publication that, as of last evening, 20th of March 2020, there have been 3000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the country of Holland, also called the Netherlands. The population of Holland stands at about 17 million.

So far, 106 persons have died from the virus, and 725 healthcare workers have contracted the virus. Most of the people killed by the coronavirus in Holland were between the ages of 60 and 95.

Most of the people who tested positive live in the province of Noord-Brabant, 1012 people. Noord-Brabant is followed by Zuid-Holland (405), Limburg (366) and Noord-Holland (353).
