In many of my news reports and commentaries, I’m highly critical of United States’ actions and its appetite for meddling in the affairs of independent nations. However, I’d like to set the record straight that I harbor neither anti-american nor anti-Trump sentiments. I’m neutral on those issues.
I believe that the United States has done a lot of good for the world, and has made great sacrifices in maintaining a free and peaceful world – even when it has cost dearly.
So why all these derogatory expressions and criticism, especially of the Trump Administration. It’s simple: I harbor “pro peace” and “anti war” sentiments.
When people provoke fighting and killing, it trips me and I often express that in words.
Yes, the United States has made some terrible mistakes in the past, and it can learn from those mistakes. But it is up to God, not me, to judge those people in power who were responsible for innocent lives.
All in all, the United States has done a lot to make the world a better and safer place, so I repeat once more the age-old stock phrase “God bless America!”
