US Representative Admits that the United States Contributed to Venezuela’s Crisis

It is no secret that US Sanctions against Venezuela helped to foment or worsen the economical crisis that left thousands dead, sick and starving. But for one of the United States’ very own to come out openly and admit it requires exceptional bravery and brutal honesty.

A lot of the policies that we have put in place has kind of helped lead the devastation in Venezuela and we have sort of set the stage for where we are arriving today.”

This particular bullying and the use of sanctions to eventually intervene and make regime change really does not help the people of countries like Venezuela and it certainly does not help and is not in the interest of the United States.

Ilhan’s comments has sparked a series of backlash with many Americans calling for her to resign.
