That’s up 36 from the 15th of March, or a total of 36 new infections within 3 days.
On the bright side, the people’s Republic of China has sent 4000 diagnosis kits to Venezuela which will serve to test 300,000 Venezuelans.
The Venezuelan government has already restricted inter-state travel within the country and overseas travel to and from the country in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, neighboring Brazil has reported a total of 428 confirmed cases today, March 19, and has also closed borders with all countries except Uruguay. Guyana, South America has so far reported a total of 5 cases of the coronavirus.
