But Russia has fired back – releasing Avifavir – one of the only two registered coronavirus drugs in the world – which it expects to go commercial early August 2020.
In early June 2020, Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) on Chemrar Group delivered the first batch of Avifavir to Russian hospitals.
This news comes on the heal of Bharat Biotech’s announcement that it is expected to release COVAXIN – a coronavirus vaccine, on August 15.
