US Doctor Dies After Taking COVID-19 Vaccine

A US doctor has died about 2 weeks after taking the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. It is suspected that his death was a direct result of his body’s adverse reaction to the Vaccine. Dr. Gregory Michael was an obstetrician who practiced at his clinic at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, USA. He passed away on the 4th of January, 2021. He was 56 years old at the time of his death.

Vaccine Manufacturer, Pfizer-BioNTech, has responded in a statement saying that they are investigating the case but do not believe “at this time” that the death was a result of the vaccine.

Dr. Michael was administered his first shot of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on the 18th of December, 2020 at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida, USA. Three days later, he started to observe Petechiae (colored spots) on his feet and hands. He sought help at the Emergency Room of the Mount Sinai Medical Center.

A complete blood count (CBC) was performed on the doctor and it showed his platelet count to be 0. A normal platelet count ranges from 150,000 to 450,000 platelets per microliter of blood. Dr. Michael was subsequently admitted in the ICU with a diagnosis of acute ITP (Immune thrombocytopenia) – a disorder characterized by a blood abnormality called thrombocytopenia, which is a shortage of blood cells called platelets that are needed for normal blood clotting.

A team of medical experts tried for 2 weeks to raise his platelet count but to no avail. Experts from all over the country were involved in his care. Despite strong efforts from the team of medical experts, the platelets count did not go up.

According to the doctor’s wife, Hedi, he was conscious and full of energy through the whole process. All other procedures having failed, the doctors were preparing to perform a surgery. However, two days before the scheduled date of the surgery, Dr. Michael suffered a hemorrhagic stroke caused by the lack of platelets. It took his life in a matter of minutes.

The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office has said that Dr. Michael’s death is under investigation and that the results may take several weeks.

Dr. Gregory Michael was a pro-vaccine advocate. However, his wife believes that his death should not be in vain. She would like people to know that the vaccine can have serious side effects for some people, and she believes it is not suitable for everyone. In this case, it destroyed a beautiful life and a perfect family and has affected so many people in the community.
