Coronavirus Russia: 360 Cases, 1 Dead

The largest country in the world, located in Eastern Europe, with a population of over 145 million, is one of the least affected countries by the coronavirus. So far, there have been only 360 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Russia, and stringent measures are being taken to contain it.

As of March 21, at 19:00, 360 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Russia. 1 person infected with coronavirus died, but from a concomitant disease.

The distribution of Covid-19 can be observed in the following regions.

131 cases in Moscow (1 person died, 8 recovered)
18 – in the Moscow region
14 – in St. Petersburg (2 people recovered)
6 – in the Sverdlovsk region
5 – in Kaliningrad (1 person recovered)
9 – in the Samara region
4 – in the Krasnodar Territory
3 – in the Lipetsk region (3 people recovered)
1 – in Tatarstan (+ 3 more cases were recorded among Russians evacuated from Diamond Princess to Russia, Kazan)
2 – in Kemerovo
3 – in the Nizhny Novgorod region (1 person recovered)
1 – in the Leningrad region
3 – in the Perm region
3 – in the Tver region
