Maduro Blasts Bolsonaro for High Coronavirus Infection Rate in Brazil

On a radio interview broadcast live last Saturday, 18th of April, 2020, Nicolas Maduro, dictator President of Venezuela, lashed out at Brazil’s President Bolsonaro, blaming him for the rapid spread of coronavirus across Brazil.

As of today, 20th of April, 2020, Brazil confirmed a total number of 40,743 cases of the coronavirus with 2587 deaths, while Venezuela only suffered from 285 cases and 10 deaths.

In addition, Maduro was lauded for his frontline approach in fighting the coronavirus while his political opponent, US backed Jaun Guaido, was only observed behind the scenes.

“His irresponsibility caused thousands of Brazilians to become contaminated and led to the death of dozens of Brazilians. He is responsible,” Maduro said of Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro.

In addition, Maduro said that the scheduled December 6th elections in Venezuela might be postponed due to coronavirus.
