Last updated: January 28, 2020 at 20:26 pmA military police from Manaus in the State of Amazonas, Brazil was last Saturday (25th of January) arrested after he shot his wife and a man she was having an affair with.
The young woman apparently engaged in a relationship with one of her colleagues at work. Her husband was a military police in the city of Manaus. Yesterday, Saturday 25th of January, while her husband was out on duty, the woman, Bruna, and her lover decided to go to the Bruna’s house for a sexual encounter.
No one expected that for some reason, for which only God in heaven knows, the Bruna’s husband, Carlos, would head home around the same time – a few hours ahead of schedule.
As he walked into his home, Carlos came face to face with the encounter that would leave three lives shattered. He saw his wife and her lover making love in his house – on his bed.
Apparently unable to control his emotions, the military police drew his weapon and fired twelve rounds. The man was shot in the head and rolled off the side of the bed naked, while the woman was shot through the chest and also rolled off the bed. They both died seconds later.
The Flesh is Weak
Upon investigation, it was revealed that the young man who was cheating with the man’s wife was an evangelist from the Assembly of God Church in Brazil. He was also engaged and his wedding was due shortly.
The bible warns us, “do not go in on a man’s wife…for jealousy is the rage of a man…and he will not spare in the day of wrath.” Sadly, not many men heed this warning, because, in spite of the looming danger, the nectar is often too sweet to resist.
I was told there are numerous cases of murder in Brazil because of unfaithfulness between spouses, and men getting shot because of being in an affair with another man’s wife is not uncommon.
One woman commented below the post of the story in Brazil:
Why kill? If it were I in his place, I would have just taken out my phone and take some pictures and scatter it on Facebook before ending the relationship. Now his whole life is ruined and those he killed.
Of course, I agree with this logic, but where emotions are concerned, logic, no matter how sound, is of little help. What many men fail to understand is that we do not live in a fairy tale world, and while many women are indeed faithful to their husband, as a man, you have to prepared that your wife might cheat at some point, and you have to be able to handle the situation in a non-violent way “if” it ever happens.
It’s something we as humans need to learn to cope with and get over. Sadly, not many humans have the strength or intelligence to deal with such situations, but if you can’t, it might be advisable not to get into a committed relationship.
Now tell us, what would you have done if you came home one day to find your spouse cheating? Tell us in the comments section below.
