“This was only the beginning. We will inflict blows on them that they have never dreamed of.”

The historical records have shown that whenever Hamas’ rockets cause the slightest damage to Israeli lives and properties, the Israeli military responds with brutal force. In this context, things are not looking nice for the people of Palestine – neither civilian nor military. In fact, Israel has always warned that a war with Palestine would result in great loss of Palestinian civilian lives. During Israeli/Palestinian conflict, we notice that for every 1 Israeli casualty, about 1 dozen Palestinians die.
Rocket fire from Palestine into Israel reportedly began on Monday, 10th of May, 2021, and it grew progressively worse into Wednesday night – the start of Eid – as Israel retaliated by bombing Palestine – tearing down a multi-storied building and killing dozens of civilians along with Hamas militants. On Wednesday, 12th of May, 2021, Hamas confirmed the death of its commander and other “warriors” and added that “thousands of leaders and soldiers will follow in their footsteps.”
Meanwhile, Israel announced today that a six year old boy was killed in his home by Hamas rocket fire as Israel vowed to continue to do “whatever is necessary” to protect every Israeli child.
According to the Israeli Defense Forces, over 1050 rockets have been fired at Israel as of today, 12th of May, 2021, striking Tel Aviv and Central and Southern Israel. Israel’s Missile Defense System, the Iron Dome, has reportedly shot down dozens of rockets saving thousands of lives. So far, at least 5 Israeli civilians and one military personnel have been killed while an unknown number of Israeli civilians have been injured by Hamas rocket fire. Israel has responded with the heaviest airstrike conducted against Palestine since 2014.
