children photoMany of the children’s books written by Patrick Carpen are pervaded by a tinge of educational facts. For example, the fictional work, “Angela’s Lost Turtle” teach many facts about turtles, such as the amount of species alive today, the class of animals under which turtles fall, and the fact that they sometimes carry the bacteria salmonella.

On the same note, “The Golden Planet,” which is part of the series, “The Adventures of Andrew in Outer Space,” teaches useful facts about the solar system and precious metals.

Not all children’s fiction by Patrick Carpen are guaranteed to be educational, but reading any form of literature is educational in itself. And further, Patrick Carpen strives to write beautiful children’s books that both entertain and educate at the same time.
