One of the greatest self improvement books I’ve read is called “the Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace D.Wattles. Published just about 7 years after the invention of powered flights, the book rightly predicted that aerial transportation would soon supersede the steam railway roads of America and provide employment for millions of people.
The Science of Getting Rich is loaded with intellectual jewels. And one of them is that we must look for developing trends and move away from diminishing trends. We must also not compete with others, but be creative. If we overpower or take over the jobs or businesses of others, we might become financially rich for a while, but we will never become truly rich. The Science of Getting Rich teaches you to become rich in all aspects of life, and to live for the body, mind, and soul.
Right now, as I am writing this article, physical brick and mortal retail stores are being phased out, replaced by online stores. People who never could have afforded to become the owner of a physical store can become the owner of a successful online store by learning web development, search engine optimization, and other web technology and skills, and putting them to good use.
Don’t compete; create. Look for your next airplane of success.
