In an interview with People Magazine, bestselling author Patrick Carpen left viewers dazed and confused when he said he doesn’t want kids because he loves them too much. When asked if he has children, Carpen replied, “no, I don’t have any children, and I don’t plan to have any children because I don’t want to bring children into this world. As the Bible says, Christ came to save us from this present evil world, so why should I bring children into a world that we need to be saved from? Do you see all the natural and manmade disasters, wars, etc? Do you think I want my children to live through that? No. I love my children too much for that so I will not bring them into this world. That’s why I don’t plan to have children.”
