I mentioned in one of my earlier articles that many businesses may not want to risk the cash on your product, but would be willing to stock it on a “pay as it sells basis.” This is called “marketing on consignment.” And it’s one of the most powerful forms of marketing because both parties win at the same rate.
Creating your own product calls for genius, time, money and lots of hard work. So just in case you have not yet blessed the world with your very own product, you can easily adopt someone else’s product as your very own. How do you do this? Just look into the wholesaler’s catalog for a well priced, high-quality product that you think would go off the shelves quickly, and call it your own. Then invest a small sum of money into a wholesale quantity.
Next, offer a few store owners the option of stocking it on a “pay as it sells basis.” Most will agree.
Now, relax and make money while you sleep. Check with the store owners every month or so to collect money and restock, and keep expanding your empire.
