Mato Grosso (not to be confused with Mato Grosso do Sul) is a state in the country of Brazil. Mato Grosso is one of the Brazil’s richest states and its main economic activity is farming – specifically the production of soybeans and SoyBean Oil.
Mato Grosso is the third-largest state of Brazil by area and is bordered by the neighboring states of Rondonia, Amazonas, Para, Tocantins, Goias and Mato Grosso do Sul. Mato Grosso also shares a border with the neighboring country Bolivia.
