Do you love writing? Do you absolutely adore putting your thoughts on paper? If so, then you are the true writer.

Writing is a craft that must be practiced. We’ve all heard the age-old saying “practice makes perfect,” and it’s no different for writers. Even though writers are people who are born just a cut above the others in terms of literary abilities, their skills still need to be honed.

Thomas Edison, the famous American inventor of the light bulb, once said, “genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration.” Sometimes, writers wonder where they will get the inspiration to write their next book or article. But true writers don’t sit back and wait for ideas to fall on their laps. The look for it. They work for it. They write whatever little they can until the rest comes. They practice what they already know over and over until it becomes perfect.

Are you a true writer? Do you love putting pen to paper or fingers to keyboard and fly after those ideas? True writers spin stories faster than a spider spins webs. If you’re a true writer, keep writing. There are thousands of books still waiting to be written. There are thousands of books that can be improved with a touch of class. And there are thousands of books that can be merged with others to become greater.

So, what are you best at writing? Start writing and you’ll soon find out. Worried about where you’ll find the next million dollar writing idea? Remember, it’s not what you write, it’s how much energy you put into your writing.
