Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics. The word “trigonometry” comes the latin word “tri” and the greek word “nome”. Tri means “three” and “nome”means “name”. Therefore, the trigonometry has to do with three names.
The Greeks were the first to devise trigonometry. They used it to construct tall buildings that amaze us to this day. The Romans quickly copied the concept and refined it. They make it much better.
Today, trigonometry is used the world over, and helps scientists, architects, computer programmers and even doctors perform amazing tasks with ease and prowess.
