Hitler persecuted the Jews in Germany and held them in “concentration camps.” Concentration camps during World War II were terrifying jail environments were Hitler kept the Jews. The Jews were forced to hard labor, beaten, starved and finally executed in a contraption called “Gas Chamber.”

However, many Jews survived the concentration camps after being rescued by the armed forces of the United Nations and lived to tell the gruesome stories. Jakow Trachtenberg, a famous mathematician, was one such Jew who survived.

During captivity, Jakow knew that he had to keep his mind productively occupied if he was going to avoid sinking into depression. He put his brain to work constantly in the area of his passion: mathematics. He devised the “Trachtenberg Mathematical Systems.”

The Trachtenberg System is a system which helps you to do complex calculations with astounding speed. There are some rules to follow and some patterns to understand. But once you’ve got it, you will become a more “advanced mathematician.”
