The Romance Languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian, are all derived from the Language of Ancient Rome: Latin. As a result, they bear striking similarities, yet they are inherently different.
Let’s take a look at how you say “good morning” in each of these romance languages.
Spanish: Buenos días
Portuguese: Bom dia
French: Bonjour
Italian: Buongiorno
