The Fuselage. The fuselage is the large hollow tube that everything attaches to. It tapers at the back. The passengers and their baggage are usually held in the fuselage.
The Wings: The wings are attached to the fuselage on either side.
The Empennage. The empennage consists of the tail of the airplane and the horizontal stabilizer.
The Powerplant. The powerplant consists of the engine and all engine components.
