Terminator 2 is one of those movies which I could watch over and over and never get tired of. It is one of those classic movies which will thrill multiple generations of viewers – both young and old.

Terminator 2 is a movie that comes loaded with a good dose of drama, a good dose of suspense, a good dose of action and some really really good acting.

The storyline is a bit confusing, but it is still good enough to hold you from beginning to the end.

Terminator 2 tells the story of two machines that were sent back 35 years in time. Each one has a special and opposite mission. One was sent to protect and the other to destroy a young boy named John Connors.

According to the storyline, sometime in the future, computerization has reached a state of advancement that the machines which once served humans so beautifully, has gained consciousness. The machines then turn against their human masters.

A war then ensues between humans and machines. The humans put up a resistance, but of course, they are no match for the machines which are insensitive to pain and tiredness and devoid of human emotions. One man however, John Connor, was ingenious, brave and resilient enough to threaten significantly the prevalence of the machines. John Connor would lead the remnants of the humans to defeat the machines.

The machines come up with an ingenious plan: go back in time to when John Connors was a kid, and kill John Connors. But John Connors counters this plan by sending the T-800 back in time also – to protect himself. He programs the T-800 terminator machine to first save his life, and second, follow his orders.

Both machines land at the time, at the same city, with two opposite missions. They both rush to find John Connors.

In the end, the defending T-800 defeats the terminating T-1000 machine. John Connors, his mom and the T-800 machine also destroy Skynet – the company that would give rise to awareness of the machine.
