Hello, my name is Patrick Carpen and I’d like to welcome you to my tutorial series on “Understanding and Using QuickBooks.” These tutorials are based on my upcoming book, “Understanding and Using QuickBooks.”

These tutorials are over-simplified. In fact, they are so simplified that I considered naming them “QuickBooks for Dummies!” However, I realized that calling your potential customer a dummy is a not a wise marketing strategy. Neither is calling your student a dummy the hallmark of a great teacher! In fact, I think it’s an absolutely dumb thing to do!

These tutorials were created for smart and intelligent people like yourself who may be absolute Newbies to QuickBooks and therefore need the extra hand-holding. They are also written for the beginner or intermediate QuickBooks user who wants to learn more about QuickBooks in a simplified manner that doesn’t miss any steps or leave you stranded by omitting critical details.

As this is a very long series with many Lessons, use the Table of Contents to find what you really need to learn and skip what you don’t need or already know.
