Neteller purports to be an online money transfer platform, but it is a worldwide scam. I learned about Neteller through a Facebook Sponsored Ad. They claimed to facilitate international payment transfers as well as solutions for people selling products online. The ad looked convincing and attractive, and so did the website. Despite all the negative reviews I had read on Google Playstore about the Neteller App, as well as the negative comments on Facebook, I still decided to give Neteller a shot.
I signed up for a Neteller account and successfully managed to deposit $50 US into the account. I attempted to transfer the money to someone in another country when Neteller “restricted” my account pending verification. To unlock my account, I had to provide copies of my ID and a photo of myself. I went through the entire process and submitted all that was required. The next day, I received an email saying that my account could not be verified.
The email from Neteller was from a “No Reply” email address. That means, there was NO WAY to communicate with Neteller. I logged into my Neteller account and tried to search for SUPPORT. There was a telephone number that doesn’t work and a link for email support that doesn’t work. There is no way to contact Neteller.
I went back on Facebook and read thousands of comments from people all over the world calling Neteller Scammers and relating similar experiences of losing money. Now 50 US dollars may not be a lot of money for me, but for some people, it is! Please share this article to help save someone’s hard earned money from being ripped off.
The Neteller Scam is presently under investigation, and a group of international lawyers areworking to bring them to justice. It is only a matter of time. In the meantime, they will try to rip off as many people as possible and fly by night. So please share this article to save someone from being robbed by these scammers. If you have had an experience with Neteller, please tell us in the comments section.

Update: I posted this article under several of Neteller’s Ads on Facebook. They read it, contacted me and refunded my money. Other people might not be so lucky!
Same thing happened to me last 23 Feb.2021. Until now my account is restricted with S100 deposited. So, I could not use until now. Please beware. Don’t open account with them.
