Geography is a science that deals with the earth. When you talk about landscapes, volcanoes, earthquakes, clouds, the directions of the winds, lines of latitude and longitude etc, you are talking about topics related to the subject of geography.
Dig deeper and you will go down to the center of the earth. Look back in time and you will experience the age of the dinosaurs.
Why are some countries more susceptible to thunderstorms, tornadoes and hurricanes, while others seem virtually immune? All these questions can be answered through a study called geography.
Let’s try to name the clouds, lists the rivers and define the mountains, and we are driving into the territories of “earth science.”
