\"sheepIn Sunday School, we sang a song, “Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes Jesus loves me. Yes Jesus loves. The bible tells me so.”<\/p>\n

But does Jesus really love me, or you?<\/p>\n

The bible tells us that not all who call on the name of the Lord will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but those who do the will of the Father.<\/p>\n

Jesus goes on to explain that on the day of judgement, he will say to those on His right hand:<\/p>\n

I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,<\/span> I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThen the righteous will answer him, \u2018Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?<\/span> When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?<\/span> When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe King will reply, \u2018Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

For all those statements above, I can answer “yes,” with a smile – sometimes many times over. For I have clear recollection of times when I helped those in need in all of the situations above.<\/p>\n

God commands us to reach out and touch those in need. He commands us to let our lights shine so that unbelievers might see that we are of God and come to know.<\/p>\n

Being a follower of follower of Jesus means more than just going to church and praising God. It means bearing the fruits of the spirit and doing the will of the Father.<\/p>\n

Does the bible assure you that Jesus love? Does your actions assure that Jesus loves you? And, as the song goes, “will you be ready when Jesus comes?”<\/p>\n
