Can you write a short story inspired by this picture? Give it a shot: let your imagination take the reins!<\/p><\/div>\n

Whereas a poem<\/a> expresses a thought in a few brief lines, a short story goes a bit more in-depth. A short story may open with an exposition or delve right into the action, then weaves a plot which escalates into a climax. When the problem faced by the main character is resolved, it is called the “resolution” which signals the ending of the short story.<\/p>\n

A short story then is shorter than a novel but longer than the average poem<\/a>. Whereas a novel delves into every nook and cranny and gives extensive narration, a short story\u00a0cuts right to the chase<\/em> and\u00a0gets straight to the point.<\/em><\/p>\n

It would seem like the writer<\/a> is rushing to the end of the story.<\/p>\n

I have been writing short stories since I was a child, and here you will have the opportunity to read a great number of them.<\/p>\n
