\"airplaneHave you ever wondered what the parts of an airplane are? Well, here they are laid out for you in clear terms you can understand.<\/p>\n

The Fuselage. The fuselage is the large hollow tube that everything attaches to. It tapers at the back. The passengers and their baggage are usually held in the fuselage.<\/p>\n

The Wings: The wings are attached to the fuselage on either side.<\/p>\n

The Empennage. The empennage consists of the tail of the airplane and the horizontal stabilizer.<\/p>\n

The Powerplant. The powerplant consists of the engine and all engine components.<\/p>\n

The Landing Gear. The landing gear consists of the wheels and the struts.<\/p>\n
