The Bible tells us that God is a just and righteous God. In fact, the bible clearly states that there is “no unrighteousness in God.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If we examine the meaning of these inter-related words “just,” “justice,” “judgement” and “righteous” we will see how ungodly the concept of an eternal hell for humans really is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When Jesus walked on earth, He told us to just in our weights and measures. For by the same mete we measure, the same shall be measured back unto us. The bible also tells us in the book of Proverbs that God hates unfair measurements. Further, the bible says that God is not mocked, but as a man sows, so shall he reap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
All of these words point to God’s just and righteous nature. Yet, there are some people pedaling a lie that clearly goes against the concept of “justice and righteousness.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They say that God will punish “finite” sin with “infinite torment.” They say that this is God’s “judgement.” Surely, these people do not understand what the mean judgement means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By earthly laws, humans punish crimes by a one-time execution. They set up laws to make the suffering of the criminal as painless as possible. As Job asked in the book of Job, “shall mortal man be more just than God?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
