The Call of Spring – A Poem by Patrick Carpen<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

\"The<\/a>The birds sit on the willow;<\/p>\n

The sun\u00a0 peeps from the sky.<\/p>\n

Downstream the noisy rivers flow<\/p>\n

And busy ants scurry by.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A butterfly with rainbow colors<\/p>\n

Runs wildly as a vine.<\/p>\n

Passing o\u2019er the flowers<\/p>\n

In paths of strange designs.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The flower\u00a0trees\u00a0are bending:<\/p>\n

Smiling to the rain.<\/p>\n

Gigantic trees are mending.<\/p>\n
