Some experts are calling it herd immunity, but they reality may be that Brazilians have learned to fight back with nature&#8217;s weapons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had read about the potency of lemon grass tea against the coronavirus. When I first arrived in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tourbrazilnow.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brazil<\/a>, my landlady drove me around the block to show me a special plant which had proven effective against coronavirus in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tourbrazilnow.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brazil<\/a>. Turns out this plant was the same lemon grass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During my stay in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tourbrazilnow.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brazil <\/a>during the month of September, 2020, I experienced some of the symptoms consistent with COVID-19. I didn&#8217;t go to the hospital &#8211; something which many may say would have been the right thing to do. Instead, I self-isolated and stepped up the use of home\/herbal remedies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While going to the hospital and getting tested is the right thing to do in most people&#8217;s opinion, it is not in my opinion. First of all, the Medical System has no safe and proven cure for COVID-19 &#8211; only experimental drugs with possibly harmful side effects. Second, they lock you away from all the things you need to recover: sunlight, your kitchen and herbs, your family, your exercise routine etc. Further, they push that horrible stick to the back of your nose &#8211; for whatever reasons &#8211; and with the possibility of turning up a misdiagnosis. In my opinion, you have a greater chance dying from coronavirus in the hospital than on your own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I called the taxi driver and asked him if he could purchase some lemon grass and bring it to my apartment. He said there was a woman selling lemon grass plants in pots. So I asked him to buy one and bring it over by my apartment. He did. It wasn&#8217;t that expensive. After boiling the leaves and making lemon grass tea and drinking it, I started feeling better almost instantly. Within a week, I was fully recovered. The truth is, I&#8217;ll never know for sure whether I had coronavirus or not.
