The word \u201ctrigonometry\u201d comes the latin word \u201ctri\u201d and the greek word \u201cnome\u201d. Tri means \u201cthree\u201d and \u201cnome\u201dmeans \u201cname\u201d. Therefore, the trigonometry has to do with three names.<\/p>\n<p>The Greeks were the first to devise trigonometry. They used it to construct tall buildings that amaze us to this day. The Romans quickly copied the concept and refined it.
