Portuguese pronunciation is not easy for a native of English to learn, to say nothing of the accent.
Here’s a good example:
The Portuguese word for “house” is “casa,” but it is not exactly pronounced “casa.”
The pronunciation is “caza.”
Now say this with me:
I’m going to build a house: Vou construir uma casa .
