\"cowParishara is an Amerindian settlement located in the central Rupununi Savannahs of Guyana. It has as neighbors the settlements of Nappi and Hiowa.<\/p>\n

Parishara is located about about 30 minutes’ drive from the town of Lethem.<\/p>\n

The population of Parishara is approximately 500 people and consists mostly of the Macushi Tribe of Amerindians. There is also a small number of Africans and mixed race.<\/p>\n

The main economic activities in Parishara include cattle rearing, casava farming, plantain farming, peanut farming, fishing and hunting. There is also a small peanut production facility in Parishara.<\/p>\n

There is one Primary School, one nursery school and one health center in Parishara.<\/p>\n
