\"hollandHolland is a beautiful country located in the continent of Europe.<\/a><\/p>\n

The population of Holland as of the year 2014 is around seventeen million people<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Holland sports about five main cities, the capital of which is called Amsterdam<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The population of the capital city, Amsterdam, as of the year 2014, averages 750,000 people<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The official language of Holland is Dutch, but English is taught as a second language in all schools.<\/p>\n

For this reason, it is possible to get by in Holland even you do not know a word of Dutch: you are likely to find someone somewhere who understands English or could answer your questions in English<\/p>\n

The size of Holland is 40,000 Square kilometers, much smaller than the country of Guyana<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The currency of Holland called the Euro, which is also used in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium and many other European countries. One euro = 1.36 USD dollars.<\/p>\n

The main export and source of income of Holland is industrial machinery and equipment; or as my friend from Holland put it “that’s how we get rich”.<\/p>\n

Religion in Holland<\/h2>\n

Although you will find Christians, Muslims, Hindus and many other religious groups in Holland, the vast majority (over 51%) of the population, are non-religious. For this reason, I choose to label Holland as a non-religious country. But it can also be labeled as a country of religious diversity.<\/p>\n
