1. The World’s Most Friendly Climates: Neither Hot nor Cold

Some people are cut out for the cold. Like cold-blooded animals, they find it comfortable in cold climates. Others are cut out for the heat: they like it when the sun is hot.

Yet, there are some people who are confomtable everywhere: God bless them!

And still, there are others so thin-skinned, they cannot put up with a fair degree of heat or cold! They are always complaining. I have an aunt like that! For these people, they need to seek out a region in the world that is very moderate in temperature to make their home. One such place is Florida. I don’t know how true it is, but I’ve heard that the climate in Florida is so uniform and agreeable, that it is almost like a paradise on earth.

Paradise on earth? Are there any such places as paradise on earth? While we may never find a place on earth exactly like heaven, there are some regions of the earth that come close! These are the places with the world’s most friendly climates! Wouldn’t you like to live there?

2. The World’s Safest Zones: Where Nature Intends Us!

There is some regions of the earth that are so safe that natural disasters never occur there, and are least likely to occur there. Guyana in South America is one such region. Guyana so far in its history of civilization has never experienced any significant natural disaster.

3. The World’s Most Dangerous Regions: Where Nature Doesn’t Want us to Build

Surely, God has given man freedom of choice to move about and inhabit whatever regions of the earth he so pleases, but it is clear to see that there are some places on earth where nature or Nature’s God doesn’t want us to build! For example, such places frequently affected by hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanoes and other natural disasters!
Yet, people still stubbornly inhabit them!

4. The Hottest Places On Earth: Where the Sun is Most Brutal.

As we move closer to the equator, the temperature gets hotter. Manuaus, Amazonas, Brazil is a city which lies on the equator itself. You can imagine how hot this region of the earth would be! And in fact, it is! I went to visit there a few times, and I wondered how people make out in all that heat.My host, Micaella, told me that they are all used to it. The heat doesn’t bother them. They have become climatized.

As we move north from Brazil, we come to the city of Boa Vista, Roraima, Brazil. Boa Vista is also very hot, but not as hot as Manuaus. Boa Vista is located about 300 miles north of the Manuaus.

Leave Boa Vista and travel about 75 miles north, and you come to the city of Lethem, in Guyana. Rest assured, Lethem is also very hot. But being farther away from the equator than Boa Vista, it is not as hot as Boa Vista.

Leave Lethem and travel 300 miles further north to the city of Georgetown. The temperature in Georgetown is relatively mild compare to that of Manuaus! Nevertheless, it is very hot for most people. A volunteer teacher from United States told me that the sun in Guyana is “brutal.” What would he have said if he had visited Manuaus!

5. The World’s Coldest Regions

What are the world’s coolest regions? Leave Georgetown and fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Arrive in New York in the winter! How about Alaska? Or even Canada or England. Yes, there are many regions of the earth so cold, that they are regularly covered in snow. I will tell you more about these places later. Stay tuned!
