This morning, a man came to me with an unusual problem. A video he had downloaded from the internet was playing no sound. But on the site which he downloaded it from, the sound was good.<\/p>\n

I checked the videos and verified the case, but this baffled me. All the speaker settings were OK. After all, it had to be, since sound was coming from the website.<\/p>\n

Additionally, some videos just weren’t opening. Neither the cause of the problem nor the solution to this problem was obvious. I was about to refer the case to a more experienced technician when I decided one last thing: restart the computer.<\/p>\n

It worked like a charm. Restarting a computer fixes little bug issues and “corruption” within the operating system. Although restarting may not always work like a charm, for obvious reasons, it does clear up a lot of issues.<\/p>\n

The next time something isn’t banging up on your PC for no obvious reason, try restarting it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
