Now it&#8217;s time to put it to good use by creating a very simple table with it and displaying that table on a webpage.<\/p>\n<p>So let&#8217;s head over to our website&#8217;s WordPress Dashboard by typing hotelamazonasgy.com\/wp-admin and typing in our username and password and hitting the &#8220;Login&#8221; button.<\/p>\n<p>Great, so now we&#8217;re inside our website&#8217;s Dashboard once again. The next step is to look at the side column.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-626\" src=\"http:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/1-15.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"316\" srcset=\"https:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/1-15.png 150w, https:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/1-15-142x300.png 142w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And there you can see that the TablePress Plugin has appeared on the left column menu in our Dashboard.<\/p>\n<p>Now the first thing you want to do before you even start using a plugin that you have installed is to check out the settings to make sure that it is OK to your tastes or ambitions. So let&#8217;s go ahead and creating a simple table, and then we will insert that table into a web page using a code.<\/p>\n<p>To start, we click on TablePress &gt;&gt; Add New Table.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-628\" src=\"http:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/3-15.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"209\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So now a new page loads for us to start creating our new table.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-629\" src=\"http:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/4-15.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"477\" srcset=\"https:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/4-15.png 510w, https:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/4-15-300x281.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>First thing we do is type in a Table Name. For this, I&#8217;ll type, &#8220;Amazonas Hotel Rooms, Features and Prices.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-630\" src=\"http:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/5-13.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"517\" height=\"131\" srcset=\"https:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/5-13.png 517w, https:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/5-13-300x76.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 517px) 100vw, 517px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And now for a description. Here&#8217;s what I&#8217;ll type.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-631\" src=\"http:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/6-13.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"515\" height=\"130\" srcset=\"https:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/6-13.png 515w, https:\/\/patrickcarpen.com\/computers-and-internet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2018\/08\/6-13-300x76.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 515px) 100vw, 515px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next thing I have to do is select how many columns and rows I want in this table. Remember that columns run from top to bottom and rows run from left to right.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll need the following headings on my table:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Rooms<\/li>\n<li>Features<\/li>\n<li>Maximum Occupancy<\/li>\n<li>Cost Per Night<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Therefore I will need 4 columns.<\/p>\n<p>And I will need a row for each of the following types of room:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Family Rooms<\/li>\n<li>Standard Rooms<\/li>\n<li>Economy Rooms<\/li>\n<li>Triple Occupancy Rooms<\/li>\n<li>Semi Economy Rooms<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>That&#8217;s 5 rows, but remember that the heading of each column will automatically take up one row.
