      Within seconds, the speeding plane was airborne.<\/p>\n

      Meus olhos brilharam e meu cora\u00e7\u00e3o cantou quando eu olhei pela pequena janela com as cenas pitorescas de vales, montes, casas, e o campo nitidamente definidos. <\/strong><\/p>\n

      My eyes beamed and my heart sang as I looked through the small window<\/em> at the picturesque scenes of valleys, hills, houses, and the neatly laid out countryside.<\/p>\n

      Mas logo n\u00f3s estavamos acima das nuvens e eu fechei os olhos e relaxei minha cabe\u00e7a para tr\u00e1s no assento. <\/strong><\/p>\n

      But soon we were way above the clouds and I closed my eyes and relaxed my head backward on the seat.<\/p>\n

      O v\u00f4o durou cerca de uma hora e meia; mas n\u00e3o foi de todo bom velejar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The flight lasted about one and a half hours; but it wasn’t all smooth sailing.<\/p>\n

      Just then, my eyes glanced the instructions in front of me to “use the seat as a flotation device in the event of a crash into a river or ocean\u201d.<\/p>\n
