Why Spirituality?
You may ask “why does Patrick Carpen choose to write on the subject of spirituality?” The answer is simple. If you look at the world around us, everything relates to us on a spiritual level. The most ordinary person on the face of the earth will be able to tell you something like “what goes around comes around,” which corresponds with the bible‘s “what you sow is what you reap.”
In addition, almost everyone believes in something on a spiritual level. Aside from the three major religions (Hinduism, Christianity and Islam), there are thousands of religious practices and beliefs.
People are constantly searching for the meaning of life and they are turning to religious books and leaders for the answers. Given all of the above, it makes sense to write my opinion on matters related to the spirit, God and how humans can use the code of conduct outlined by God to reach the highest human standards, and most of all, salvation. As it says in the book of Proverbs “the path of the righteous is a like a lamp that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.”
