Eat Healthy. Ask yourself: what crap am I eating?

Before you open your mouth to eat, stop to think.

Some years ago, a friend of mine and I were working on a computer. We were loosing it up to diagnose the fault it had and then we would proceed to fix it by replacing the damaged parts. It was a bit of a lengthy operation, and somewhere in the middle, I felt hungry.

I pulled out a pack of biscuits from my pockets and started eating it. My friend glanced over to me and said in flippant way, “what crap are you eating?”

I just laughed. But years later, something struck me: what crap was I eating? And what crap do I continue to eat even to this  day?

More and more today, people are looking and feeling like absolute crap; and we’ve all heard the old saying: we are what we eat.

The biscuit I was eating was made mostly of processed sugar and a bunch of chemicals. Today, science has taken us a far way forward, but it has also taken us a far way backward from what God has intended. The bible has already demonstrated the power of natural foods such as grains and pulses and their importance for our health.

Today, more and more people are getting sick from a myriad of illnesses that  keep arising with alarming regularity and getting more rampant everyday. Today, the greed brought on by capitalism has stuffed lots of crap down our throats and the throats of our children. More and more people are ending up in the hospitals or private clinics, only to be fed more harmful chemicals and dangerous medicine with loads of side effects.

Today, when you sit down to eat, or when you pull out a snack to munch on it, ask yourself, “what am I getting?”

Are you getting enough:

Natural foods.

Raw Foods

Fruits

Vegetables

Superfruits

Metabolic foods

Vitamin Rich Foods

Stomach-Friendly Foods

…?

Ask yourself: what crap am I eating? And ask yourself if you can’t get something healthier for a much lower cost – to your wallet and your health.
