Welcome to Nutrition, Fitness and Medicine by Patrick Carpen! Why? Because it’s important for our survival: for the survival of each of us individually and all of us collectively as human beings on the planet.

If we do not intake the right nutrition, we may get sick and die, unless you have the stomach of a goat or you are from another planet. If we do not stay fit, we run so many health risks. And if we do not know the use of medicine, both natural and conventional, and how to apply them effectively, we will lose so many lives.

To illustrate this point, let me tell you a little story. In the mid-nineteenth century or so, the simple flu killed thousands of people in Europe. And it did this over and over, until one hero of a man discovered penicillin. Then people killed the flu. What would have happened if it weren’t for this discovery and many others?

In “Medicine” by Patrick Carpen, I’ll cover both the effective use of conventional medicine, which is what qualified medical practitioners use, as well as “natural medicines, herbal medicines and alternative medicines”, which do not need to go through the Food and Drug Administration. It is my belief that both conventional medicine and natural remedies have their roles to play in the well being of the human race. They should go hand in hand, in harmony with each other; and not compete against each other for merits and popularity.
