You’ve heard the saying “the money is in the oil”, and many countries, especially in the Middle East, have amassed great wealth through the sale of crude oil. The demand for gasoline prompted the rush for “black gold”, and this non-renewable resource lit up the entire world and powered heavy duty machinery for centuries.

But the world is steadily changing, and world leaders are waking up to face a serious dilemma: stop using oil or risk the destruction of the world. The emissions produced by gasoline and diesel not only affect the lungs of human beings, it also breaks down the ozone layer, leaving mankind vulnerable to the damaging effects of UV rays: a dangerous type of sunray which the ozone layer protects us from.

On top of top, excessive greenhouse gases lead to something called “global warming”: a phenomenon whereby the planet gets warmer much faster than expected because of excessive carbon dioxide emission produced by the use of fossil fuels.

The conditions are getting more and more worrying each day, and the answer is absolutely clear: humans need to stop using fossil fuel completely. Every day, government officials are scratching their heads and pulling their hair in trying to figure out how they could preserve nature, the environment, and their world at large by reducing the amount of fossil fuel used by the country. You can help too.

Solar panels, wind turbines, hydro power, and…the electric car, all help to stop the deadly effects of fossil fuels. And this brings us to the essential reasons for building or converting to an electric car.

With an electric car you

  1. Create less noise.
  2. Utilize clean energy.
  3. Harm the planet or environment in no way whatsoever.
  4. Save money.
  5. Gain a sense of personal satisfaction.

But what is the cheapest, easiest and most efficient way to convert your car to electric, even if you are no mechanic or car fanatic?
