Say No To Black Hat SEO

Black Hat SEO refers to any SEO technique or strategy which capitalizes on the fact that the search engine is a computer program and not a human being. With that in mind, the crooks are able to feed the search engine misleading information to excite the search engine to push a particular webpage or pages upward for a particular keyword or keywords.

Black hat SEO includes:

1. Link Farming: Building thousands of low quality or useless websites and stuffing them with links to a particular site or sites to help improve “link popularity”.

2. Keyword Stuffing: Stuffing your content with a particular keyword or keywords even though the copy doesn’t read well or make sense.

3. Hidden Keywords: Hiding keywords which are irrelevant or make no sense to visitors but which you wish the search engine ranks your site for. This is often accomplished by making the text color the same is the background color.

4. Using software to mass-post useless or low quality comments on blogs with a link back to a particular site.

While the search engine crawler may not be human, it was created by humans and these humans are very smart, tech-savvy businessmen with their ears to the ground and a determination to deliver the best results to their users.

With that in mind, you can be sure that the search engine crawler will be built to detect every instance of black hat SEO and lower or delist any site which uses it.

For this reason, you should firmly say “no to black hat SEO”.
