While I was in Brazil in 2013, in the state of Mato Grosso, in the city of Rondonopolis, and staying with my wonderful friend, George Ribeiro, one day, I decided to peruse his mother’s bookshelf for something to read. My hand stumbled on a Portuguese novel, which translates to English “Nothing by Accident”, and I guess it wasn’t an accident!
To say I had a great time reading this book would be a gross understatement. The fact is, this book gripped me from the first page with a series of suspense woven with powerful expressions and descriptive languages and immersed me into it’s world of adventures – until the last page.
The language, plot and tactics employed by the writer impressed so boldly on my consciousness that I wanted to share this book with everyone who enjoys reading a great novel. For this reason, I decided to take it upon myself to translate the book into English and make available to the English speaking world.
